Why I created First Keys
I am Ashten Tucker, a Michigan-based real estate agent and founder of First Keys. After helping dozens of buyers successfully navigate their first home purchase, I saw a clear gap in the process.
Most first-time buyers are not lacking motivation. They are lacking clear, honest education. First Keys was created to put education first so buyers can make informed decisions with confidence, not pressure.
Through this work, I break down how buying a home actually works. We cover finances, timelines, the offer process, negotiations, and what happens after you go under contract, so you understand each step before you are in it. My goal is to remove confusion, reduce stress, and give buyers a realistic roadmap they can trust.

My mission is simple: educate first-time buyers so they can move forward prepared, confident, and on their own terms.
What I believe buyers deserve
- A clear explanation of every term before they're asked to sign anything
- Honesty about tradeoffs, including when renting might make more sense for now
- A process that moves at a pace they're actually comfortable with
- Access to the same educational resources whether or not they ever become a client
