What we're building
The First Keys Certified Agent program is currently in development — this page exists so interested Realtors can join the waitlist early. Certification requirements, training, timeline, and any cost are still being finalized. Here's the direction it's headed:
Built around first-time buyers specifically
Not a general real estate designation — focused on the specific way first-time buyers need things explained, paced, and supported.
Aligned with the First Keys approach
Plain-language education first, no pressure, and honesty about tradeoffs — the same standard First Keys holds itself to.
Visibility with First Keys buyers
Certified agents will be prioritized when First Keys refers buyers through Find an Agent — the exact process is still being finalized.
Who this is for
- • Licensed Michigan Realtors® or real estate salespersons in good standing
- • Agents who already spend real time educating first-time buyers, not just showing homes
- • Agents comfortable with a no-pressure, education-first way of working with clients
